Well, Superbowl 44 is nearly upon us and the Indianapolis Colts will take on the New Orleans Saints in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, February 7th, 2010, and you can bet this is going to be one killer game. It came real close to seeing the Minnesota Vikings play the Colts in this year's Superbowl, but the Saints rose to the challenge. Thanks to Brett Favre and Tracy Porter the game went into overtime and the Saints were able to take home the trophy and are now looking to make history in this year's Superbowl and the players that this will depend upon are probably Reggie Bush, Darren Sharper and Jeremy Shockey.

As for the Colts, they won Superbowl forty one most recently, and they played the New York Jets in the conference championships. The Jets scored all of their 17 points in the first quarter, then the Colts came back and scored in all three subsequent quarters, thirteen in the second, seven in the third, and ten points in the fourth quarter, for a final score of thirty to seventeen. The Colts will be relying on receivers Dallas Clark, Pierra Garcon and Austin Collie and are hoping that Peyton Manning's tosses will find a target.

The Saints enter the Superbowl as the underdogs, but not by very much. Drew Brees will need to get his team pumped up and energized and they'll have to come out strong. One factor that may affect whether or not the Saints can receive in the back field is if Dwight Freeney plays up to his best. However, Peyton Manning's passes are also hard to stop when he's on fire, so if he can get protection hopefully he'll throw receptions, especially with Bush waiting for the pass.
