The Denver Broncos suffered a very disappointing collapse last year and were unable to compete the way that the hoped to. They started off the season 8-5 and then fell apart over the last few weeks and missed the playoffs with an 8-8 record. After the season things got worse as franchise QB Jay Cutler demanded a trade and the team dealt with off field issues involving star receiver Brandon Marshall.

Thus, the upcoming 2009-2010 season is all about change. Jay Cutler is gone and Kyle Orton is in. Mike Shanahan has left the team and the Broncos are going to have to head into a whole new direction. The team is going to have to improve on their rankings last year as they ranked 30th in points allowed if they want any hope of improving this year.

Josh McDaniels will be leading the team this year as a first year coach and will be relied upon to turn Kyle Orton into a premier quarterback. A lot of pressure will also fan onto the receiving core of Tony Scheffler, Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley and of course Brandon Marshall. Rookie running back Knowshon Moreno will also be expected to step up and relieve the pressure off of Orton and give the Broncos a solid running game this year.
Denver Broncos live football will be much different this year thanks to an all new defence. The team added Brian Dawkins and the addition of a healthy Champ Bailey should be a major boost to the team. If everything comes together, the Broncos could be a pleasant surprise in the NFL and bounce back from a very disappointing year last year.
