On the defensive side of the ball Joey Porter returned to form and compiled an impressive 17.5 sacks on the season and lead the likes of Yeremiah Bell and Channing Crowder to career years. If everything plays out the way it did last year then the Dolphins could once again be a big threat to push for the playoffs in the AFC. The problem is that many teams will be more prepared for the wildcat offence and no one will be surprised by the capability of this team.

For the 2009-2010 season there is a lot of excitement about how the Wildcat offence may be improved even for thanks to the addition of Pat White.
