It has been a long fall from grace for the St. Louis Rams live football, and the team has come along way from their glory years as the “greatest show on turf”. It seems every year that a few main pieces of the Rams puzzle continue to leave, and the team is struggling to bring anyone in to replace them. There is hope for the team as they try to rebuild around new coach Steve Spagnuolo, but it is going to be an uphill battle to say the least. The Rams said goodbye to long time receiver Torry Holt and future hall of famer Orlando Pace this offseason, which really shows they are looking to start fresh. While Marc Bulger will still be at the helm of the offense, he has lost a number of weapons over the years. With Trent Green being released Kyle Boller is the only person left to turn to should Bulger run into another injury. That has to be a scary thought for Rams fans as Boller has done little to prove he can handle an NFL starting QB job.

Thankfully the Rams still have Steven Jackson who will ensure the team can compete game in and game out and has the ability to explode for a TD at any time. Other than Jackson, a lot of the pressure is going to fall on the defense to shut down opposing teams and give the Rams a chance. Needless to say that is not going to be an easy task at all.
