The CFL season is heating up as teams try to make a scramble to the top of their divisions and prove that they can have an impact on the playoff positions. The Montreal Alouettes started the season strong and have not looked back or slowed down one bit. Led by veteran QB Anthony Calvillo the Alouettes look like the team to beat this year on the road to the Grey Cup. For the Saskatchewan Roughriders it has been a much more tumultuous season to say the least as they have had their fair share of ups and downs. Can Montreal continue its road to success or will the Roughriders play the role of spoiler and stand in the way? The best place to find out and watch Saskatchewan vs. Montreal live is right here on WatchLiveNFL on Friday August 21st.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders appear to have maybe begun to turn their season around with a few wins and a big win against the Hamilton Tiger Cats last week. They used a balanced rushing attack to put up a big 214 yards against the Ti-Cats and come away with a 33-23 victory. Ken Miller was pleased with the effort and really hopes the momentum carries over to the next game. Arland Bruce III and Deandra Cobb brought in touchdowns for the team and Nick Setta booted three field goals. If the defence can hold down Montreal then the Roughriders could stage an upset.
For Montreal they will be the obvious favorites heading into the game as they have been all season long. In their last game Calvillo threw 3 straight touchdown passes on the way to a 39-12 route of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. If players like Kerry Carter, Jamal Richardson and S.J Green can continue to pick up the pace then the Roughriders could be in big trouble this weekend.
