The Buffalo Bills lost in the last meeting to the Panthers, which was week twelve of the 2005 season. However, they have won three times out of the four that they have met the Panthers and just have a 16-13 OT win against the Jets last week, boasting six interceptions. They also have Paul Posluszny back, after missing 13 games of the 2007 season and has been out for four this season after breaking his arm. However, he was back last Sunday and shining so he'll be a key player for the Buffalo defense as they take on Carolina.
Carolina just came from their own win beating Tampa Bay last week 28-21. In the last meeting where the Panthers were able to beat the Bills Jake Delhomme threw for 191 yards to get the touchdown that made the game. However, they do have to contend with the lack of motivation on the part of Steve Smith who made just one catch for four yards in the victory against Tampa Bay and even said that he was no longer an asset.
