Sunday, August 8^th, the Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Dallas Cowboys at Fawcett Stadium at Dallas and this game will be a terrific one to kick off the new season of NFL that starts this week. Next week is the first week of the pre-season and game time will be 8:00PM for this traditional kick off game, one in which the Bengals have not been invited to participate in since 1988. Of course, both of the teams playing in this Hall of Fame event deserve to be there, as the Cincinnati Bengals former head coach Dick LeBeau is one of those being inducted this week, albeit more than thirty years since he was eligible for induction. Also, from the Cowboys side, former running back for Dallas Emmitt Smith will be joining the other inductees by ballot election. Smith still leads the NFL for rushing right now and definitely deserves to be there. Don't miss the ceremonies or the game itself this week.

This is the first time in nearly 30 years that Fawcett Stadium has pitted division champions against each other. The Bengals took the AFC North last year with a record of 10-6 when it was all said and done, and the Cowboys had the NFC East easily with 11-5.
