The NFL Preseason will hold the first games of Week One on Thursday, August 11th as well as Friday, August 12th. Our featured game is between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Detroit Lions, which is scheduled to happen at Ford Field starting at 7:30PM, and then we have other Friday games this week as well such as Miami and Atlanta playing at the Georgia Dome, Pittsburgh facing off against Washington at FedEx Field and the Giants and the Saints playing at the Superdome at 8:00PM. Also, there is a Tampa Bay v Kansas City game at the Arrowhead Stadium.
Cincinnati leads the Lions 3 to 0 for games played in the past. The most recent game that the two games played was on December 6th, 2009, with the final score being 23 to 13. They also played on December 18th, 2005 with the game ending Detroit 17 and Cincinnati 41. Before that the two teams went head to head in 2001 with a final of 31-27 for Cincinnati.
