The Chicago Bears will host the Cleveland Browns this week at Soldier Field. The game happens on Thursday, September 1^st and kickoff will be at 8:00PM. This is the fourth week of the NFL Preseason, and will be the last series of games played before the leagues move onto the regular season games. Fifteen of the sixteen games this week are on Thursday, with only Oakland and Seattle playing on Saturday at 10:30PM Eastern. On Thursday, the Giants and Patriots will play at Gillette Stadium at 7:30PM alongside the Browns-Bears game, and KC and Green Bay will also be playing at 8:00PM.

Twenty four to fourteen was the final score when Cleveland went up against Philly on Thursday. Cleveland played a terrible game the first three quarters, not scoring and not stopping the Eagles from scoring, but then earned fourteen in the second quarter. They are now third in the AFC North standings with a 1-2 record. Then, we have Chicago who has a 1-2 record as well and takes the last spot in the NFC North. Derek Anderson needs to improve a bit after throwing ninety nine yards total, which contributed to a loss of 31-3 when they played the Packers last Sunday. Anderson replaced Brady Quinn, and in the past three games he has earned a 30.9 passing average and thrown a total of 244 yards. He was a Pro Bowler two years ago but has the lowest passer average in the NFL, 40.6, and even worse the third worst throughout a period of seven weeks in the last ten years. However, Eric Mangini will start with Anderson nonetheless, hoping to improve a record of only four TD's this entire season.

As for the Chicago, they are recovering from the worst butt kicking they have had in six years and are working on what will be their third straight loss if they don't beat the Browns. Also, this will be their third loss in a row playing at Soldier Field. The Bears will be honoring Walter Payton, this being the tenth anniversary of the football great's death.
