Sunday, January 17th the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings fight for one of two spots in the Championships on the NFC side and there are four teams vying for these two coveted spots, that will bring them one step closer to this year's Superbowl. Also hoping for a spot in the Championships on the NFC side is Arizona and New Orleans, as well as the Ravens and Colts and the Jets and the Chargers on the AFC side. Baltimore and Indianapolis play on Saturday, while New York and San Diego are on Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys have the edge being 4-2 against the Vikings in the playoffs, winning in 1971 and 1975. Minnesota had a victory in between there in 1973. Then the Cowboys took '78 and '96 while the Vikings won the most recent playoff game in 2000, which was a Wild Card game. This is going to be a great football game and will determine one of the two teams that will represent the NFC in this year's championships and take us closer to the Superbowl.
