Sunday 25th September 17:00 - 20:00 GMT
On Sunday, September 25th the Detroit Lions travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings in a Week Three game of the regular season of the National Football League. They will play at the Mall of America Field at 1:00PM, one of eight 1:00PM games that are going to be held on Sunday, and then there will be seven other games later that day including the Oakland Raiders hosting the New York Jets and Atlanta and Tampa Bay up against each other at Raymond James Stadium. Our Monday Night Football game this week is between Washington and Dallas and it happens at 8:30PM.

Both of these teams are part of the NFC North Division, and the most recent game for Detroit was at Ford Field between them and the Kansas City Chiefs. Detroit was able to easily take that game, ending it decisively 48 to 3 in favor of Detroit. They are now first in the NFC North. The Vikings recently played at Mall of America Field against Tampa Bay and weren't so lucky, losing to the Bucs by four points. That puts them at the bottom of the NFC North. The Detroit Lions will come roaring into Mall of America Field to face down the Minnesota Vikings in a big Week 2 game on Sunday, September 26th. The Lions are on a 2 game losing streak but have been losing by less than 6 points each time so they will be pushing their QB Shaun Hill to up the ante on his passing game which has already surpassed 420 yards and brought them 2 TDs. The Vikings have also suffered a pair of losses so far with both being 5 points or less so they will be egging on QB Brett Favre to show the kind of all star performance he is so well known for. The fact of the matter is, this week one of these teams will finally put an end to their losing season. You will want to catch this moment of glory so sign up here on WatchLiveNFL.com so you can see this game in high quality streaming video right over your computer from anywhere in the world that you happen to be on game day.

The Detroit Lions have one amazing player in RB Jahvid Best who has not only run for 98 yards and 4 TDs, but also caught 14 passes for 170 yards and put one of these into the end zone for a TD so they are far from a weak team in 2010. The Minnesota Vikings have an incredible RB in Adrian Peterson who has picked up 232 yards and a TD this year, but TE Visanthe Shiancoe is also a big threat with his 162 yards and TD, too, so the Vikings simply can't be counted out. This is going to be an intense match up as both teams want to finally put a W in their stat column so make sure you click a banner on this site to sign so you can watch live.

The Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings face off at 1:00PM at the Mall of America Field in Minnesota. This week ten game sees these two competed was in Detroit. The Lions have seven losses in total with three of those by sixteen points or greater and when these two played back in week two the Vikings won 27-13, one of the aforementioned losses. Brett Favre only had four incomplete passes for that game. Last week the Lions were 32-20 against Seattle. So Calvin Johnson is the man who will make Detroit's offense, but last week when the Lions played the Seahawks he only caught two passes for a total of 27 yards. This is his first game since he injured his knee. Detroit has got to be hoping that Johnson is fully recovered and will be bringing his all to this game. There are also the longtime linebackers that the Lion's have. Larry Foote and Julian Peterson are two of those names and they will be hoping that these two men can provide some much needed guidance for the rest of the defensive line.

As for Minnesota, they have Jared Allen, who is the top pass rusher and has 10.5 sacks which is a tie for the lead in the league. He'll be hoping to force rookie QB Stafford into making some serious errors. Stafford hasn't done spectacularly well for the Lion's, having twelve interceptions in six starts this season. Also, Minnesota has the confidence of knowing that they have scored in twenty nine of just thirty two quarters this year.
