Here we are at Week Twelve of NFL action, with three games scheduled mid-week. On Thursday, November 24^th, the Detroit Lions will be hosting the Green Bay Packers at 12:30PM at Ford Field. The Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys also play on Thursday, at 4:15PM at Cowboys Stadium, and the other Thanksgiving Day football game we have this week is at the M&T Bank Stadium at 8:20PM between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. Then, we have our regular thirteen games scheduled for the rest of the week, one on Monday.

The Packers are undefeated right now, entering Week Twelve with ten wins so far. They have not lost a single game since the season began. Detroit is also in the NFC North with the Green Bay Packers, but they have seven wins and three losses, giving them the second spot in the standings. Detroit is hosting The Packers at Ford Field in Detroit and the Packers have a 6-4 record coming into this game and the Lions have only won 2 games out of the ten played, which leaves them with eight losses. So, the Lions are playing on Thanksgiving Day which means that they will want to put their best forward and not keep with the same trend that has brought them eight losses. They have lost before on a Thanksgiving showcase game. Five times in a row in fact and each time they did they lost by double digits. This is a record that would make any team nervous but won on a Thanksgiving day back in 2003. That game was actually against The Packers and the Lions took it 22-14. They'll be hoping for some deja vu this Thursday.
