Two high powered offenses will take to the field this weekend as the New Orleans Saints march into Cincinnati to square off against Carson Palmer, Chad Ochocinco, and Terrell Owens. The Saints are never an easy to team to beat even when they are on the road, but the Bengals have a lot to prove if they want to show that they actually have the talent to compete with the top teams in the league this year. With the Saints coming off a huge thanksgiving win over the Dallas Cowboys, this week’s matchup is going to be an all out battle to say the least. For the Saints, Reggie Bush did not look good at all last week against the Cowboys but should get more opportunity to let loose against the Bengals struggling defense. This is in many ways a must win game for the Saints as they have already lost the Cardinals and the Browns already so they need to pile up as many division wins as they can. The good news is that Drew Brees is a top flight starting QB and has the ability to lead the team down the field every time that he is given the ball. Will it be enough this week against the Bengals? Only time will tell.

There was a lot of hope swirling around Cincinnati heading into the season as it looked like the team had put together an incredibly powerful offensive lineup. By bringing in Terrell Owens and rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham to match up with Chad Ochocinco, Cedric Benson, and Carson Palmer, the team was in line to put up a ton of points. However, the season has not quite played out that way and the Bengals once again may struggle to make it into the playoffs. Despite that, they are an incredibly fun team to watch and have the ability to light up the scoreboard week in and week out.
