Thursday, August 12^th we have three big games going on in the first official week of the NFL Preseason. One of those is the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore game, and another is the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. So, this first game will be a great one to watch because New Orleans last year was on their winning streak and steamrolled New England at home on their way to the Superbowl. However, there are totally different lineups now, because it's a new season, and also because it's the pre-season. That game was on Monday Night and New Orleans came out 38-17 over the Pats.

The Saints have the best offense in the league, but they aren't going to put their star players out there for very long and risk injury in the pre-season. In fact, I don't expect to see much of Drew Brees on the field at all. Tom Brady and Randy Moss will also likely sit on the bench for this game.

Now, the Saints are coming in strong with the confidence of knowing that they can beat the Patriots at home, but the question is, will the players in this lineup be able to make that team confidence work for them personally? My guess is no, because like the Pats, the Saints are probably going to sit out their best, and that doesn't leave much to work with.
