In the first week of NFL preseason games we see the New York Giants take on the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium. The game will happen at 8:00PM on Saturday, August 13^th and will join several other NFL games that are on that same day, as well as preseason games played earlier in the week. The Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears are also playing at 8:00PM at Soldier Field and the Indianapolis Colts take on the St. Louis Rams at 8PM as well as the Edward Jones Dome. Also, the Minnesota Vikings play Tennessee on Saturday as well.

The Giants are going to be missing one of their top draft picks for this preseason game. Prince Amakamara broke his foot and was on crutches on Sunday. He will be having surgery on it soon. Meanwhile, the Panthers are recovering from what is the worst record in their league last season, but they have some new recruits that may change things this year.
