On Sunday, September 11^th, the New York Giants play the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field. The game will be at 4:15P right in the middle of a whole list of other games on Sunday. This is the first week of the regular season of the NFL, and it follows four weeks of preseason games that have been played. All of the games on Sunday, except one, are played at 1:00PM and 4:15PM. The exception is the match-up between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets, which happens at the MetLife Stadium at 8:20PM. There are also two games on Monday.

The Giants recently beat the New England Patriots by just one point on Thursday, the final score ending 18 to 17. That gives them two wins and two losses and are at the bottom of the NFC East, tied with the Dallas Cowboys. As for Washington, their most recent preseason game was against Tampa Bay and they won theirs was well, entering the regular season at the top of the NFC East with a record of three wins and one loss. The Redskins have had an up and down season since while the Giants have really struggled to stay in top form. Last week the Giants’ defense was destroyed by Philadelphia while the Redskins really came out big with a massive 34-13 win. The Giants have lived and died based on the play of their secondary this year. Washington only has the 17^th ranked passing game but they do have the ability to throw the ball deep from time to time.
