So the Cowboys and the Raiders at Oakland Coliseum and right now Dallas holds a record of nine and seven from last season and while not magnificent, it is certainly better than the Raider's record of 5 and 11. Wade Phillips coaches for Dallas with a pretty impressive record of 70-53 over the past seven years and Tom Cable is the coach for Oakland with what is his second season. However, the Raiders were ranking low on sacks last year, and John Marshall, the teams defensive coordinator is concentrating on sacks this season.

As for the Cowboys, they have defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and he has a blitz package planned that may keep the Raiders in check. Meanwhile, their defense has been looking about the same as last year. What they are going to struggle with is their ability to force a turnover, their secondaries and the interior run defense. Thanksgiving Day will be the big day for three teams. The Lions and the Packers will face off on Turkey Day as well as the New York Giants and the Denver Broncos. The Dallas Cowboys have had a bad couple of weeks, but they come into this tourney with a 7-3 record. This traditional game will allow the Cowboys a chance to redeem themselves and improve their record. They have a record of doing so, with four of the last five games played over Thanksgiving won with a total points count of 106 to 22 over the past three years of playing Thanksgiving Day games. Last year, it was Seattle that took the fall 34-9. However, they are still recovering from matchups against the Packers and Redskins which ended badly for Dallas.

For the Raiders they just had a Week Eleven win that they barely got at the last minute, as Dallas did in Week Eleven as well. Oakland beat the Cincinnati Bengals who only had two losses and some late wins. The final on theat game was 20-17, all the action happening in the last few minutes of the game.
