Philadelphia Eagles v Indianapolis Colts Live

It is just the pre-season still but the exciting action and storylines from the NFL are already garnering front page headlines and swirling around. The biggest game of the pre-season so far will be taking place on Friday August 21^st as the new look Philadelphia Eagles will take on Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. It will be the first time the Eagles take the field since acquiring former All Star QB Michael Vick.

The Colts have not made many moves this off-season and do not offer much different than every other year. However that may not be a bad thing as the Colts and Manning have been the picture of consistency over the years and should be a top flight contender once again. The one area where the team will look quite different is at the wide receiver position now that Marvin Harrison has moved on. It will be somewhat weird to see manning throw the ball without Harrison on the receiving end but the team should be just fine.

While the big news on the year so far on the season for the Eagles is the signing of Michael Vick, many feel that he will not be participating in this live streaming NFL game. Instead the Eagles will work with Donovan McNabb and see how he gels this year with the return of a hopefully healthy Brian Westbrook and the addition of highly touted offensive lineman Jason Peters. If Peters can provide protection for Westbrook, McNabb and Vick all season long then the Eagles could become the team to beat in the NFC.
