In the first week of the preseason of the National Football League we have a game between the Pittsburgh Steeler and the Washington Redskins. This game is set for Friday, August 12^th and kickoff will be at 7:30PM. This is the third game of the day to begin at 7:30PM, joining the Lions and the Bengals playing at Ford Field as well as Miami and Atlanta facing off at the Georgia Dome. Pittsburgh and Washington play at FedEx Field. There are two other games scheduled for Friday as well, between Tampa Bay and KC and the Giants and Saints.

These two teams have only gone head to head twice since 2001. Pittsburgh was able to take both of those games. The most recent game Pittsburgh played was against Green Bay, which ended 25-31 in the favor of the Packers, and the Redskins most recently lost to the Giants.
