The San Francisco 49ers take on the Detroit Lions this week in Michigan at Ford Field in a game on Sunday, October 16^th at 1:00PM. This is Week Six of the NFL. The 49ers most recently played a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, October 9^th, and San Francisco slaughtered them, ending the game 48 to three. They are followed by the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona with St. Louis at the bottom of the table.

The Detroit Lions are bound to put up a challenge however. The last time they lost was last season when they were beat by the Chicago Bears. The game was close, but even more significant was the fact that the Lions haven't a single team beat them since then.
