The San Francisco 49ers and the Houston Texans will face off this Sunday for another Week 7 game. Last time that these two teams played it was in OT when Joe Nedney made a thirty three yard field goal for a 20-17 win for San Francisco. This was in week seventeen of the 2005 season. Last week Houston played the Bengals in their own stadium and won 28-17 while San Francisco didn't play at all last week. Houston has done extremely well, especially their defense under the stewardship of head coach Gary Kubiak. In the first three weeks of the season an average of 205 rushing yards per game was given up, but after making some tweaks to the defense the Texans haven't permitted more than forty six rushing yards per game during the past three weeks. However, we'll see if they can maintain that defense this coming Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers and Frank Gore come to Reliant Stadium for this week seven game.

Besides Frank Gore being back after two games out with a sprained ankle from a game in week three, they will also most likely start rookie Michael Crabtree. This after the Texas Tech player was picked as 10th overall in the draft in April and signed on this month. Last week San Francisco got a break with a bye but they will need both of these guys to get some numbers in the win section.
