The first week of the preseason there are quite a few games going on. One of these is the Superdome match between the San Francisco Giants and the New Orleans Saints. This game will start at 8:00PM, on Friday, August 12^th, with another game starting at the same time at the Arrowhead Stadium between Tampa Bay and Kansas City. There are also three games starting at 7:30PM as well. One of those is at Ford Field between Cincinnati and Detroit. Miami and Atlanta will also be playing, and Pittsburgh and Washington face off as well.

New Orleans leads these teams in head to head matches since 2001. They have played a total of eight games since then, and the Saints have taken all but two of them. The only two games that the Giants managed to win were the farthest in the past, one happening in 2002 when SF beat New Orleans 38 to nothing. In 2001, the Giants beat the Saints by one point.
