Sunday 11th September 20:15 - 23:15 GMT
On Sunday, September 11th, thirteen games are played in the regular season of the NFL. The first week will have a total of sixteen games, one of them played on Thursday. Two games will be played on Monday, one between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins at 7:00PM and the other featuring the Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. That game will start at 10:15PM. Our featured game is between the San Francisco Forty-Niners and the Seattle Seahawks, and it will be played at 4:15PM at Candlestick Park.

The Seahawks beat Oakland on Friday, September 2nd, their last preseason game, giving them a two for two record, and leaving Oakland zero for four. That means that Seattle will take the third slot in the NFC West table. Their opponents, the San Francisco 49ers are two for two right now, winning their preseason game against the Chargers. They are at the very bottom of the NFC West however, with three of the four teams there having the same record. A very intriguing NFL game will be taking place this week as two teams that have shown a lot of positives, and a lot of negatives at the same time square off on the gridiron. The San Francisco 49ers have not been able to meet the expectations this year but with a win they still have the chance to get back into the NFC West playoff race based on the struggles of all the other teasm in the division. The Seattle Seahawks showed a lot of promise at the start of the season but have had a penchant of getting blown out as of late. They need to step up this week during the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers live game this weekend, and you can watch it happen on WatchLiveNFL.com.

In all reality, the 49ers should be well out of the playoff race and be building for next year by now but that is simply not the case. They still have a chance to turn it on and make things happen, and Brian Westbrook is going to have to play a big role in that. If the team can continue to follow the lead of young Troy Smith and get the prime defensive play of Patrick Willis then they could surprise and squeak out of the NFC West.

For Seattle they have to bounce back and win as many games as they can down the stretch to make this season a success. This could be a swan song for long time QB Matt Hasselbeck so you can be sure he will be playing his heart out in his final games. The good news is that he has won 10 out of 13 games he has played against the Seahawks and will try to keep that up.

Find out if Hasselbeck can lead his Seahawks to another win or if the 49ers can continue to bounce back thanks to new QB Troy Smith by logging onto WatchLiveNFL.com for the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers live game.

The last time these two teams met the Seahawks walked away with a massive 34-13 victory thanks to a big game from Seneca Wallace but a lot has changed since then. The team showed they still have what it takes defensively thanks to a big 28-0 last week against the Rams, but the 49ers are a much improved team this time around. Find out if San Francisco can get revenge this weekend by watching the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers live right here on WatchLiveNFL.

For the Seahawks, all eyes will be on new tight end John Carlson who has proven to be quite a force in the NFL. He will not find it as easy as last week against the Rams but should still be able to put up impressive numbers against the 49ers. Matt Hasselbeck needs to remain confident and stay away from pro bowler Nate Clements in order to avoid crucial mistakes.

The key for the 49ers will definitely be how well Shaun Hill leads the team and stays out of trouble. He is not an overly talented quarterback but he has the ability to stay calm and lead the team to victory. He will not make the big plays but if he can avoid mistakes then San Fran will be in a good position to win. It will be up to Nate Clements to make the big plays.
