The Buccaneers are four and ten right now and they are in the middle of their longest losing streak ing 24 years. The Buccaneers opened four and two and looked like they were going to have a good season before finding themselves in a losing streak. They have been outscored 256 to 134 and haven't had this type of failure since September through November of 1985. In fact, the Panthers have won 5 of the last 7 games against the Bucs but they need to come back big after the devastating 17-6 loss to the Jets last week. After a dreadful start to the season the Bucs turned to Josh Freeman and he has righted the ship, somewhat. He has been very poised throughout his young career and has been avoiding pressure like no one else on the team can. If he can remain confident and settle the team down then the Bucs could come away with another win here. The game will also depend on how well the defense plays, and there has been one shining star so far this year. Veteran Ronde Barber has been consistent and is proving his mettle as a mentor for the young defense. If he can lit a fire under these guys then Jake Delhomme better be on the lookout.

While Jake Delhomme has felt a lot of pressure this year from the media and fans, it is definitely John Fox who is on the hot seat. He has been a great coach for the franchise but the team has been really struggling this year. If he cannot turn things around this week, or soon, then he may find himself in his last year with the Panthers. This is a big week for the Panthers no matter how you look at it.
