Vince Young is out, probably for the rest of the year with a injured thumb, and that is just one of the many problems that the Titans are facing this week, with their offensive coordinator having been diagnosed with cancer. Tennessee, with a 5-5 record, with try to come back on Sunday as Rusty Smith makes his first NFL start as quarterback. The thumb injury may have been a blessing in disguise as Young had words with coach Jeff Fisher recently.

Houston lost the last four games, and has a record of 4-6, losing to the New York Jets last Sunday with a final of 30-27 after a ten-seconds-on-the-clock touchdown pass was thrown by Mark Sanchez. The week before that the Jacksonville Jaguars's Mike Thomas scored the winning touchdown and forcing the Texans to a 31-24 loss. For the Titans, all eyes are on Vince Young who has turned the season around since being named the starter for the Titans.
